While there are many great Irish bars and restaurants throughout the Greater Indianapolis area, few take St. Patrick’s Day as seriously as Langton’s Irish Pub. Located in Carmel City Center, Langton’s Irish Pub is near the intersection of 126th Street and Rangeline Road in Carmel. They will hold a number of great events before, during and after St. Patrick’s Day.

Before St. Patrick’s Day

Langton’s Irish Pub begins its annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations on Saturday, March 12th, with its Cystic Fibrosis Charity Night. All money raised goes to cystic fibrosis research. An additional 10 percent of food sales goes to research as well. On this night, they will put up stickers for each donation made, and there will be a special price for its Moon Monkey milkshake. Two days later, on March 14th, Langton’s Irish Pub will hold the Oskar Blues Tapping and Trivia night. They will have drink specials for Flat 12’s Langton’s Irish Ale just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Their famous fish and chips will be on special for just $10. They will also tap Oskar Blues Firkin and give away prizes during a trivia contest. Tuesday, March 15th, Langton’s Irish Pub has an Irish whiskey and Irish food tasting event. The event costs $30 if tickets are bought in Advance. Tickets to this event cost $35 if they are bought at the door. That night also has $4 Guinness and $10 corned beef and cabbage specials. Lastly, on Wednesday, March 16th, the day for St. Patrick’s Day, Langton’s will have its Family Fun Night. There will be face painting and prize giveaways. Kids eat free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult.

St. Patrick’s Day 2016

On St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th, Langton’s Irish Pub comes alive with a host of great musical acts. Rust Musket will play between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Murat Highlanders and DJ Aylor will perform at 6:15pm and 7:00pm, respectively. Rogue Pipes and Drums will also be on stage between 3:00pm and 3:30pm. Langton’s will open an hour early, serving brunch between 10:00am and noon. Additionally, this year, St. Patrick’s Day falls on the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Langton’s will broadcast all of the tournament games on its 26 TVs. Visitors should take advantage of their whiskey special on St. Patrick’s Day. Traditional Irish drinks and beverages like Irish Coffee and Irish Car Bombs are just $4 on St. Patrick’s Day at Langton’s.

After St. Patrick’s Day

The fun at Langton’s Irish Pub does not end on St. Patrick’s Day. The following day, Friday, March 18th, Langton’s will again serve brunch between the hours of 10:00am and noon. They will again broadcast all of the March Madness games that take place on that day, and they will have a great all-you-can eat select appetizers option for just $15. It is also Ladies Night, and Shane Rodimel will perform. Finally, there will be a bracket challenge and drink specials throughout the entire day. Langton’s Irish Pub plans to hold another celebration for St. Patrick’s Day in 2017.
